Explanation of Charges

本科 & The Clarkson School 学费 - 本科 students enrolled in 12 to 19 credit hours (inclusive) are designated as full-time students and are charged at the full-time tuition rate. Students exceeding the full-time load of 19 credit hours will be charged at the credit hour rate for each credit hour in excess of 19 in addition to the full-time tuition rate charge.

住房 - Based on the most expensive room rate, this may vary depending on your room assignment.

Clarkson University Student Association (CUSA) Activity Fee - Assessed by CUSA on all undergraduate students carrying a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester and distributed to clubs & 组织.

Clarkson University Student Association (CUSA) Campus Improvements Fund - Assessed by CUSA on all undergraduate students carrying a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester for capital priorities identified by students.

Grad Residential Program CUGSA Activity Fee - Assessed by CUGSA on full-time graduate students enrolled in a residential program and distributed to clubs & 组织.

Grad Non-Residential Program CUGSA Activity Fee - Assessed by CUGSA on graduate students enrolled in a non-residential program and distributed to clubs & 组织.

The Clarkson School Fee - This fee assists in covering various student activities such as field trips, guest lectures and special meals sponsored by The Clarkson School.

Knight Card (optional, involves an opt-in process) -预付, declining balance account which is a convenient, cashless way to make purchases on and off-campus (at participating locations). 不收费, no chance to overdraft, and no chance of accumulating credit card debt, the Knight Card is a great budgeting tool!  

Student 健康 Insurance (not applicable to all students) - 健康 insurance coverage is mandatory for residential program students. Students must either have their own health insurance coverage, health insurance through their parent/guardian or be enrolled in the Clarkson University offered coverage.
